In my third week at Totem we received an RFP to pitch on the re:porter publication. In 9 days I created a replica of the book. The strategy was to showcase both our understanding of the brand, as well as the agency's ability to tell stories, home and abroad. The team pulled together and it truly was ‘all hands on deck’, the most ambitious project I’ve worked on to date.
The client was very impressed and this leave behind book. It helped encourage further negotiations, but in the end budgets couldn’t match up, and we did not get the business. There's no question it gave us a fighting chance though. (Selected examples below)
